After nearly two years, India has resumed accepting Tourist Visa applications from Bangladeshi citizens from 28 June 2026. The application process now includes a mandatory online appointment system and document upload before visiting the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC).

Bangladeshi citizens holding a valid passport can apply for an India Tourist Visa through the designated IVAC centres in:

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the Online Visa Application

Visit the official Indian Visa portal:

  • Complete the online application form.
  • Download the original PDF after submission.
  • The uploaded PDF must be the original application generated from the official website.

Step 2: Register on the IVAC Portal

Visit:

https://appointment.ivacbd.com/

  • Registration and web file upload are available from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM on the previous working day.
  • Register using the same email address used in your visa application.
  • Verify both your email and mobile number using OTPs.

Step 3: Upload Documents & Book Appointment

  • Upload the required documents.
  • Appointment slots become available in the evening according to the IVAC schedule.
  • After logging in, the system assigns the next available appointment slot.
  • You can change the assigned slot once if necessary.

Step 4: Pay the Processing Fee

After your appointment is confirmed, pay the IVAC processing fee of BDT 1,500 online.

Required Documents

Prepare the following documents:

  • Original passport (minimum 6 months validity with at least 2 blank pages)
  • Copies of the passport's first four pages
  • All previous passports
  • Recent 2×2 inch colour photograph
  • National ID Card or Birth Certificate
  • Recent utility bill
  • Employment letter, Student ID, or Trade License
  • Bank statement or proof of sufficient financial resources (or foreign currency endorsement)
  • Printed online visa application form with registration number

Important Notes

  • The uploaded visa application PDF must not be older than 30 days.
  • Edited or modified PDF files will be rejected.
  • Registration must be completed before the daily cut-off time to be eligible for appointment booking.

Processing Fee

India does not charge a Tourist Visa fee for Bangladeshi applicants. However, IVAC charges a processing fee of BDT 1,500, payable online during appointment booking.
